Thai Coconut Flan

A luscious dessert that is gorgeous to serve and looks elaborate but is actually really simple to make. This coconut flan is made with only a few ingredients and takes no more than 10 minutes to prep! A tasty and smooth treat, great for any occasion!

INGREDIENTS

Coconut Flan ingredients
 Eggs 3 pieces
Wheat Flour 80g
Condensed Milk 400g
Coconut Milk 400ml
 Coconut sugar (for the caramel) 80g

INSTRUCTIONS

Coconut Flan

Prepare the filling

Break 3 eggs in a bowl. Add the wheat flour, condensed milk and coconut milk to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Prepare the caramel

In a pan, dilute 80g coconut sugar with 30ml of water. Bring to a boil and keep stirring until the ingredients blend into a caramel.

Place in a cake mold

Pour the caramel in the mold. Make sure it spreads evenly across the base of the mold. Then add the filling over the caramel.

Bake

Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 180 degrees. Once cooked, leave to one side and let it cool before serving.
